MY-ACT MY-ACT is the Ministry for Young-Adults Children & Teens of the First Pentecostal Church. We exist to MENTOR young people by creating an environment that allows them to CONNECT with mentors and peers, while nurturing them to a place were they can HELP the local community and REACH peers, in order to ADORE God's Name. The Youth and Young Adult ministries accomplishes its purpose by utilizing Abundance Groups, Peer Mentors and Group Mentors. Additionally, we provide a safe environment for members to engage in regular fellowship or recreational activities designed to promote strong peer bonds. Moreover, our Peer Mentors help members forge healthy social relationships while learning essential life skills in a safe and friendly environment. In so doing, we help members explore their talents and abilities without the overwhelming pressure of unfriendly competition or unfair comparison. Men's Fellowship The First Pentecostal Men's fellowship is a Men's Ministry designed to challenge men to accept their role in God's family, by encouraging them to advance in Godly character while inspiring them to work as a team to assist in ministry, and announce their mission in the world in order to adore God's name. The Round Table: "The Round Table" is a men's support and accountability instrument of the First Pentecostal Church. The concept of a round table presents each man as equal to every other man in the group. The round table allows men to speak with men about issues that are presently critical to their life, their relationships, and their integrity. Any member of the First Pentecostal Men's Fellowship can call or attend a Round Table meeting. Non-members may request a round table by using the contact page provided and noting their specific request.. Women's Ministry The Women's Fellowship provides a fun, safe, nurturing place for women to enhance their relationships with God, their family and other women. Moreover, we build bonds and relationships that will last a lifetime. Join us for a pampering "Women's Day Out" or just a relaxing quiet "Ladies Getaway." Secret Sisters: The Secret Sister fellowship is a commitment to keep a chosen sister in your prayers daily, to support, encourage, and remember her throughout the entire year. Likewise, you will be remembered, supported, encouraged, and lifted in prayer by a "secret sister" throughout the year. At the conclusion of the year, we have a "revealing" lunch (or dinner) where you will have the chance to find out her name and share an enjoyable evening of fun and fellowship. It is designed to help you cope with the pain, anxiety and struggles of the past and the present by equipping you with biblical life enhancing tools. In short, this biblical, life balancing program will help you to address all of the habits, hurts and hang-ups in your life. Couple's Ministry Our mission is to motivate, develop, and equip couples in the church to fulfill Gods blueprint for marriage as contained in Genesis 2:24 ( and repeated in Matthew 19:5, Mark 10:7-9 and Ephesians 5:31) and in so doing be a channel of God's blessings to other couples.
