Pastor's Notes 12-13-2009
The conversation between the prophet Isaiah and God recorded in Isaiah 6 included a question that God has asked you. The question is, “Whom shall I send and who will go for us?” Have you answered the Lord’s question?
Isaiah did. He said, “Here am I! Send me.” What is your answer today? Where have you gone and when did you leave?
God’s response to Isaiah’s willingness to go was – “Go, and tell this people…” This is so similar to the Great Commission that you should know that they are God’s instructions. Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… Matthew 28:19”
The point is that we as believers are to “Go and tell” before we say “Come and see”. This is what our ministry should be about – first going!!! Have you left, yet?
