Sons of Issachar & Daughters of Zelophehad
The Sons of Issachar are the male members of the Peer Mentor Team. These young men have committed to be accountable to both God and each other, and are dedicated to be the leaders and examples that God has called them to be. These young men ascribe to be like the Biblical Sons of Issachar described in First Chronicles 12:32. They have dedicated themselves to not only excellence in scholastic academics and Biblical knowledge, but to grow in wisdom so that they can apply what they have learned to lead both the church, and their nation in the direction that God is leading.

The Daughters of Zelophehad are the female members of the Peer Mentor Team. These dedicated young women have committed to preserve their generation by being accountable to both God and each other. In so doing, these young ladies pursue excellence and maximize their potential in all facets of life. These young women have committed to be like the Biblical Daughters of Zelophehad described in Numbers the 36th chapter. They have dedicated themselves to not sit back and watch the destruction of their generation, but rather to take charge and preserve it by applying both scholastic and Biblical knowledge. In so doing they can apply what they have learned to lead both the church, and their nation in the direction that God is leading.

Peer Mentors or PMs are a part of the leadership training ministry of the First Pentecostal Church. This ministry is specifically geared toward the needs of young people and is designed to equip them to become the leaders of today. This program is designed to equip adolescents and young adults with fundamental skills necessary to assist others in navigating through issues of peer pressure and other relevant age appropriate life issues.
